Getting Started
The School of Global Citizenry, a CEU certified online school, empowers you to earn money teaching from the comfort of your own home (or on the road) all while protecting your unique thoughts and ideas. Global learners from around the world are able to interact with you, and each other, through interactive web-based platforms to help bridge linguistic, technological, spatial, and geographic divides. We even train you on the latest techniques in online learning and certify you to administer continuing education units.

Who can teach and/or course host at The School of Global Citizenry?
Passion Requirements
The School of Global Citizenry is looking for dynamic global educators who have a passion for collective wisdom, global citizenship, social justice, and community-building.
Language Requirements
The ideal instructor will be fluent in written and spoken English, be energized by adult online learning, diligent in lesson planning, and have a solid working knowledge of multiple cultures, religions, and global issues.
Educational Requirements
A Master's degree and/or Doctorate degree and teaching experience is desirable. Priority status is given to BIPOC and LGBTQ applicants.

How do I get paid as an instructor?
Percentage Rate
As a general rule, all instructors receive 70% of the net income received through the sell of their course. The remaining 30% covers maintenance, web-hosting expenses, and administrative management.
B2B Contracts
Some organizations are looking for a private, specialized learning experience through SGC. These are handled as business to business contracts based on the details of the arrangement.
Payout Schedule
Scheduled courses with definite start and end dates are paid out no later than 30 working days following the close of the course. On-demand courses are paid out quarterly.

What benefits do I receive as an instructor?
Training and Certification
The Certificate in CEU-Approved Instruction Training Course is refundable with a successful course launch (with sales) within six months of the date of enrollment. *No more than two CEU training course refunds per course.

We understand your thoughts and ideas are part of the work you do in the world. With fully customizable sales pages and course content building freedom, you can ensure you, your organization, and your mission are properly promoted.
Full Tech Support
We provide technical support for instructors and learners, instructor training, live LMS onboarding, and user experience maintenance. Our tech support staff are available 7 days week to assist instructors and learners.

The purpose of a course proposal is to provide the course's purpose, content outline, learning outcomes, and methods for assessing learning performance. Make sure you do your research prior to submitting.
